Annual HOA dues are a legal obligation to pay by any Owner of a Deed to a lot in Summerfield Village. When these dues are NOT paid within 30 days from the due date, HOA member automatically loses voting rights for HOA matters and loses all privileges to recreational activities, including the pool facility. Late charges and interest can be assessed when HOA dues are not paid by the HOA member in a timely manner. The HOA is also permitted to take legal action when HOA members do not pay annual assessments within 30 days from the due date and the HOA member is then subject to paying all legal costs and collections costs in addition to the unpaid balance due to the HOA.
The HOA has sent and resent invoices to all HOA members who are past due for 2024 dues and multiple years past due. For any HOA member that is multiple years past due, the HOA sent certified letters with revised voices showing the total amount with penalties and interest that is past due and payable immediately. Starting July 1, 2024, the HOA has retained a legal firm to seek judgments and file liens for any HOA member with annual HOA dues that are past due for multiple years.
To avoid paying all legal costs and collection costs in addition to what is owed to the HOA for annual assessments, please contact the HOA to start working on a plan to pay the obligation
