Every summer, residents of Summerfield enjoy swimming at the community pool between the hours from 10 am to 9 pm every day of the week. The most commonly-asked question by residents every spring is "When will the pool be open for the summer?" This year, more maintenance work was required to be completed before the pool could open for the season. The swimming pool is opening for the season! Thank you for your patience -- and we do expect to keep the pool season open beyond Labor Day this year.

The pool season is extended through Saturday, September 21st this year. Enjoy!

We also need volunteers to do daily pool closing for this extended period of time. Click the button in the section below to pick a week for helping out. Thank you, SFVHOA Trustees.

So far this summer, we have had a sufficient number of households sign up to perform daily pool closing activities. We need more volunteers to sign up for August and September. Click the link below to select a week to do closing activities:

• Arrive at 9 pm - ensure anyone using the pool is wrapping up for the day
• Check restrooms to make sure no one is in facility, turn lights off and lock restrooms
• Straighten up furniture, including tables and chairs
• Leave pool facility locked after making sure no one remains in the pool facility
• Take trash and recycle cans to curb on Thursday night (or Friday if pickup is on Saturday)

• Pool facility is for Summerfield residents and guests (limit 4 guests per household).
• Guests must be accompanied by a Summerfield resident who is 18 years of age or older for the entire time of the visit to the Pool facility.
• At all times, children of the age of 15 years or younger will not be permitted in the Pool facility unless under the direct care and supervision of a parent or other responsible person of the age of 18 years or older.
• Pool facility in-season operational hours are from 10 AM to 9 PM daily.
• Summerfield resident must use their OWN assigned pool key to enter Pool facility – NO Exceptions.
• Make sure gate is locked securely after entering and exiting the Pool facility.

• Do NOT swim alone!
• No Lifeguards on duty: All persons using the Pool facility do so at their own risk. The HOA Board will not be responsible for any injury, accident, or damage in connection with such use. All injuries, accidents, or damage should be reported immediately to the HOA.
• No jumping or diving into pool from anywhere in the Pool facility (roofs, pergola, furniture or otherwise).
• Visitors are responsible for any damage to the Pool facility or premises caused by themselves, their families, or their guests.
• The HOA is not responsible for the loss or theft of, or damage to, personal property or vehicles of visitors, their families, or guests.
• Security cameras are in use around the Pool facility, excluding restrooms, primarily for security purposes when the pool is closed.

• Proper swimsuits and swim attire are required at all times.
• Children who are not potty trained are required to wear swim diapers - NO exceptions.
• Respectful behavior is expected at all times.
• Use pool-approved toys. Limit oversized items during peak swim times.
• Respect all pool property and clean up before leaving.
• Please consume alcoholic beverages responsibly.

• Glass containers are NOT permitted within Pool facility at any time - NO exceptions.
• No food or beverages is permitted in or around the immediate pool area.
• Do NOT put any pool furniture in the pool.
• Smoking (including vaping) is prohibited within, or adjacent to the Pool facility and the pool parking lot.
• Pets are not permitted within the Pool facility.
• No outside pools (baby, plastic, inflatable or otherwise), tables, or umbrellas are allowed in the Pool facility.
• No skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, hover boards or bicycles are permitted within the Pool facility.
• Loitering in the restrooms, pool entry, and/or parking lot is not permitted.

Violation of these rules or regulations or any other misconduct may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of pool privileges. After-hours use of pool facility is strictly prohibited.
